Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud Architect to join our innovative and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can guide our cloud initiatives and ensure they align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement AWS cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
- Lead the cloud architecture practice and mentor junior architects and engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into cloud solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and analysis.
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS services, tools, and industry best practices to ensure our cloud solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for cloud initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in cloud architecture and AWS services.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and culture.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
- Understanding of serverless architecture and microservices.
