Managed IT for Swiss-based SMEs
IT happens. We handle it.
One fixed monthly fee per person covers the platform, the licences and the support. And we don't just keep the lights on: we move your old servers to the cloud, modernise how you work and make AI safe and useful. A Swiss technician comes on site only when you need one.
- Swiss account manager
- Support in French, German and English
- Data stays in Switzerland or the EU
- No three-year lock-in
- Modernisation and transformation as standard
1 fixed fee
per person per month, with licences, platform and support included
15 min
response to a critical outage, 24/7, on Secure and Sovereign
4 weeks

Sound familiar?
- Something breaks, you call someone, and an hourly invoice follows.
- Your IT provider keeps the lights on, but has never once suggested what to modernise.
- The old server is still in the cupboard, and nobody has proposed moving it to the cloud.
- Everyone is talking about AI, and you feel your company is being left behind.
- You rely on favours or search engines to fix issues.
- You pay for endless separate IT tools and utilities, and the bills keep getting higher.
- When IT goes wrong, the escalation path is you.
You are already paying for a managed IT service. You are just not getting one.
The invisible bill
Most owners have never added these five lines together, because they never arrive on the same invoice.
- 01Downtime and your own hoursTime you and your team spend on IT instead of on clients.
- 02One unbudgeted project a yearThe server, the migration, the breach.
- 03Break-fix hoursBilled by the hour, every time something stops.
- 04Scattered subscriptionsBackup, antivirus and tools bought one by one.
- 05Microsoft 365 licencesOften the wrong plan, at list price.
Three ways to run IT in a small company
For many small companies, the fixed fee lands close to what the invisible bill already costs. We check that against your own invoices in the first conversation.
Modernise and transform
Keeping the lights on is the minimum, not the service
Most providers maintain what you already have, ticket by ticket, for years. We run your IT and move it forward: the old server goes to the cloud, the way you work gets simpler, and AI becomes something your team actually uses.
Today
A server in a cupboard, years old, that nobody wants to touch
With IT Happens
Moved to our Swiss platform or replaced by Microsoft 365. Backed up, monitored, and no hardware to replace every five years.
Today
Files on a shared drive, reachable only from the office
With IT Happens
Files in the cloud, available securely from anywhere, with the right people seeing the right folders.
Today
Antivirus and passwords on sticky notes
With IT Happens
24/7 threat detection, two-factor authentication and a password manager for everyone.
Today
AI talked about, never used
With IT Happens
Data cleaned up, an AI usage policy in place, and assistants and automations your team relies on.
A modernisation roadmap, at every review
Your account manager doesn't just report on tickets. Every review comes with a roadmap: what to retire, what to move to the cloud and what to automate next, each with a fixed price. You decide, we do the work.
- Server and application migration to the cloud
- Microsoft 365 and Teams, set up properly
- Security brought up to today's standard
- AI readiness, then AI that does real work
How it works
One fixed subscription. Everything else only when you use it.
Most IT contracts bundle everything into one number, and you pay for capacity whether you use it or not. We separate what should be predictable from what should be occasional.
In your subscription
Shared Swiss platform
Microsoft 365, identity, your documents, your servers, backup and the security stack, all on one shared platform. You get infrastructure sized for a 500-person company, at the share of it you use.
- Runs in
- Switzerland and EU
- You pay
- Fixed, per person
In your subscription
Remote support
Our engineering team answers, fixes, sets up new joiners, patches, watches the alerts and does the work. Your team writes in French, German or English and gets the answer in the same language.
- Hours
- 07:00–19:00 CET, 24/7 for outages on Secure and Sovereign
- You pay
- Fixed, per person
On demand
Swiss on-site technician
For the things that need hands in the room: a dead switch, a move, a new office, a machine that will not come back. A qualified technician near you, booked like a taxi.
- Comes from
- Your region
- You pay
- Per visit, only when used
On demand
Cloud, storage and AI
Extra capacity, hosted applications, Copilot, an assistant on your own documents, an automation for one of your processes. Switched on the month you want it, off the month you don't.
- Runs on
- The shared platform
- You pay
- Per unit, monthly
This is why the fixed part stays lean. You are not paying a retainer to keep a van and a technician idle on the chance you need them.
The plans
Three plans, one way of working
Every plan is a fixed fee per active person per month, quoted for your company after a 30-minute review. Add people the day they start, remove them the month after they leave.
Swipe the table to compare all three plans.

When you need more
Hands on site, capacity on tap
Swiss on-site
A technician in the room, on terms you know before you call
Most things don't need anyone on site, and we won't send someone to do what can be done remotely in four minutes. When it does need hands, you book a visit.
- Standard visit, booked within three working days
- Express: on site within four working hours
- Evenings, Saturdays and public holidays when it can't wait
- Prepaid visit packs, transferable between your sites
- Subscriber terms, no call-out fee, no retainer
The technician arrives with your documentation already open, because our remote team wrote it.
On demand
Cloud, storage and AI, switched on by the month
Runs on the same Swiss platform your subscription already puts you on. No new contract, no new supplier, no capital decision.
- Hosted workloads for your business applications
- Extra storage and shared-file capacity
- A secure link between your office and the platform
- Microsoft 365 Copilot, managed, with licences passed through at our cost
- An AI assistant that answers from your own documents
- Fixed-price automation for one of your processes
- Copilot-readiness clean-up before you switch AI on

What we handle
The list nobody wants to own
In your language, not ours.
New joiners
You tell us someone starts Monday. Their laptop arrives configured, their accounts exist, their access matches their role.
Leavers
Access revoked the same hour, mailbox preserved, device wiped and returned to the pool. The gap many small-company breaches walk through, closed.
The thing that broke
Unlimited incidents. Something is broken, we fix it, we don't count. One team, one channel, one answer.
Updates and patches
Applied automatically, tested first, outside your working hours. Nobody is asked to restart at 11:00 on a Tuesday.
Backups that work
Restored and verified every month, with the result in your report. An untested backup is not a backup.
Attacks
Watched around the clock by people, not just software. Isolated, contained and explained to you in writing, in plain language.
Licences and renewals
Counted, right-sized and included in your monthly fee. No shelfware, no surprise renewal, no annual negotiation.
Knowing what you own
Every device, licence and account documented and current. If you ever leave us, you leave with all of it.
AI
AI without hiring anyone who understands it
Every small company has been told to use AI and given no safe route to doing it. Two things are usually missing, and neither is the licence.
The clean-up nobody mentions. Point Copilot at a company whose file permissions have never been reviewed and it will happily surface the salary file to whoever asks. Before we switch anything on, we fix what everyone can see, label what is confidential, and write you an AI usage policy that stands up under the revised Swiss data protection act.
Then the useful part, when you want it. AI is on demand, not bundled into a plan you pay for whether or not anyone uses it. Switch on the assistant for the five people who will actually use it, and turn it off if they don't. Or commission one automation, scoped in a single conversation at a fixed price: supplier invoices read and filed, quotes drafted from your own templates, meeting notes landing in your CRM.
We are not selling you an AI strategy. We hand you one thing that works and run it afterwards. Licences are passed through at our cost, so we have no reason to sell you seats nobody opens.
Your data
Your data stays in Switzerland. Our engineers come to it.
We are direct about this, because you will ask. We have remote teams in the EU and India. Together with a shared platform, that is how a small Swiss company gets a full IT department. The technician who comes to your office is Swiss and local.
Your data does not go to India. It is stored on the Swiss platform, with your tenant, storage and keys separated from every other client, and it stays in Switzerland or the EU. Our engineers reach it through a Swiss access gateway: no download, no copy, no removable media. Elevated access is granted for a specific task and expires. Every session is recorded, and the log is yours to see any month.
Support in your language. Your team writes in French, German or English and reads the answer in the same language. Phone support during business hours. And your account manager is here in Switzerland, with a name and a mobile number.
In the contract. A data processing agreement, a published list of every sub-processor, Swiss standard contractual clauses for the transfer, and support with breach notification to the FDPIC. For clients bound by professional secrecy or FINMA outsourcing rules, a specific addendum.
Service levels
What we commit to, in writing
Miss a critical response target and we credit part of that month's fee automatically, from our own reporting. You shouldn't have to notice.
| Response time | Essential | Secure | Sovereign |
|---|---|---|---|
| Criticalthe business has stopped | 2 h | 15 min, 24/7 | 15 min, 24/7 |
| Higha team cannot work | 4 h | 1 h | 30 min |
| Normalone person is blocked | Next day | 4 h | 2 h |
| Requesta change, not a fault | 3 days | Next day | Next day |
| New joiner ready | 8 h | 4 h | 4 h |
| Technician on sitestandard booking | 5 days | 3 days | 2 days |
| Hosted systems available | — | — | 99.9% |
| Satisfaction, published monthly | 4.3 / 5 | 4.5 / 5 | 4.5 / 5 |
Unlimited incidents, always. Changes and requests run to about one per person per month across your company. Well beyond that, we talk to you about it rather than send you a bill you didn't expect.
Six things we ask of you
The service works because we do the same thing the same way for every client. That discipline is the product, so it is in the contract, in both directions.
- 01Your Microsoft 365 tenant is managed by us. One place where identity lives.
- 02Laptops are business-grade, under four years old and enrolled with us. We can supply them if you prefer.
- 03Two-factor authentication for everyone, including you. No shared logins.
- 04Nobody is a local administrator on their own machine. We handle what needs handling.
- 05No unsupported servers in a cupboard. If you have one, we move it. That is what Sovereign is for.
- 06We are your IT provider, not one of two. Shared ownership is how things fall between the chairs.
If your setup isn't there yet, we quote the work to get it there before we start, at a fixed price, so you know the whole picture up front.
Getting started
Four weeks from signature to handled
- 1
Week 0
Thirty minutes, and a written answer
We look at what you have, what breaks and what you spend. You get a fixed per-person price and a scope on one page. No discovery invoice.
- 2
Weeks 1–2
We take custody
Accounts, licences and devices inventoried and documented. Security baseline applied. Backup configured and a first restore tested in front of you.
- 3
Week 3
Your team meets us
One page telling them how to get help, in their language. A short session. Nobody has to learn a new tool.
- 4
Week 4
You stop thinking about it
Monitoring live, service desk open, first report scheduled. From here, IT is a line item, not a worry.
The terms, in plain words
Try it first
30-day pilot with one team of five to ten people, credited against setup if you continue.
Setup
One-off and fixed, quoted up front with your proposal.
Term
12 months, then rolling with three months' notice. We won't ask you for three years.
Seat count
Monthly. Up immediately, down the following month. Your fee follows your headcount.
Price changes
Once a year at most, capped at Swiss inflation, plus any Microsoft licence increase passed through openly.
On-site
Per visit, on subscriber terms with no call-out fee. Prepaid packs if you want that predictable too.
Leaving
Included: full documentation, your data in open formats, and 60 days helping whoever replaces us.
Questions owners ask us
How much will it cost us?
It depends on how many people you have, which plan fits and what you already run. After a 30-minute review you get a fixed per-person monthly price and a scope on one page. No discovery invoice.
Where are your engineers?
We have remote teams in the EU and India. Your account manager and on-site technicians are in Switzerland. Engineers work on your systems through a Swiss access gateway, your data stays in Switzerland or the EU, and every session is logged.
Are we too small, or too big?
IT Happens is built for Swiss companies from eight people upwards. We work with everyone from small groups to large enterprises. Talk to us and let's see!
We have an old server. What happens to it?
We review it in the first month and propose the right move: hosted on our Swiss platform, replaced by Microsoft 365 or another cloud provider, or retired, whatever is best for you. You get a fixed price before anything happens, and the migration is planned outside your working hours.
We already have an IT provider. Why switch?
If your provider keeps things running but never brings you ideas, you are paying for maintenance, not progress. We take over as your single IT provider, plan the handover with your current provider so nothing is lost, and bring you a modernisation roadmap in the first month.
Do we have to replace our laptops?
Only if they are more than four years old or not business-grade. We check this in the review, and we can supply devices if you prefer.
What if we want to leave?
You leave with full documentation, your data in open formats and 60 days of help for whoever replaces us. It is in the contract. We don't do vendor lock-in and we don't work to trap anyone.
Thirty minutes, and you will know what you actually spend
Bring your last twelve months of IT invoices. We add them up with you and tell you openly whether we can do better. If we can't, we'll say so.
What happens next
- 1Write to us with your company size and what bothers you most about IT today.
- 2We reply personally to set up a 30-minute review at a time that suits you.
- 3You get a written answer: a fixed per-person price and a scope on one page.
